I love sunsets.
Just last week, I saw one from a roof in Guadalajara, Mexico that left me speechless.
He did it again.
The same God who made the sun come up that morning made it go down that night.
Every day, God paints a picture for us in a sunrise…and then He comes back and paints another picture for us in a sunset.
For thousands of years…
And every time the sun comes up and goes down, it’s an original work of art.
All the colors.
All the shadows.
All the beauty.
Kind of like you and me.
God puts His fingerprints on each sunrise and each sunset…every day.
Not only that, He’s created billions of living, breathing works of art in you and me.
So, next time you happen to see one of His works of art, remember that it’s not just a copy or a cheap imitation or a random chance event…it’s God reminding us that He’s alive and well.
And, that He’s not done creating beauty.
Every day is a masterpiece…take some time to praise Him for it.
He deserves it.
“From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!”
Psalm 113:3 (ESV)
