What are you thirsty for?

Summer roared in like a lion yesterday.

It was hot…and muggy.

And, I got thirsty for something cold.

Cold.

It wasn’t a day for a hot cup of coffee or tea or whatever it is that you like to drink hot.

I needed something cold.

So, I went to the fridge…

What are you thirsty for today?

And, I’m not just talking about cold beverages anymore.

What are you thirsty for today?

Money? A new cell phone or tablet? A new house? A car? A relationship? A new career? Acceptance? Comfort? A bigger and better _________________?

The point is that what you’re thirsty for is ultimately what will define you.

What you’re thirsty for is what you will pursue and sacrifice for.

What you’re thirsty for is generally what you will get out of life …or at least try to get out of life.

The good news is that Jesus knows we get thirsty.

And, He solved that problem…forever.

You never have to be thirsty again if you go to Him to solve your thirst problem.

Are you thirsty for Him?

Are you pursuing Him?

Are you willing to sacrifice all your other “thirsts” for Him?

“35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. “ (John 6:35)
