If I had to sum up what God’s will is for your life in one word, it would be…
Before you start wondering how I could possibly know what God’s will is for your life, think about this for a second.
Everybody is running, because everybody is chasing after something.
So, now ask yourself…
Why am I running?
And, what am I chasing after?
Is what I’m chasing after worth it?
What’s my motivation to do anything in life?
Why am I here?
You are here to run.
But, you’re not here to just run around in circles.
Or chase the latest fads…
You are here on this earth to run after Jesus.
If you want your life to matter.
If you want your life to mean something.
If you want to live for a purpose.
If you want to live with hope.
If you want the finish line of your life on earth to be the starting line of an eternity with Jesus in paradise…
12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. 3 Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up. Hebrews 12:1-3
