If you are alive, you have it.
You have one chance… one lifetime to make a difference.
Because, at some point, you will die just like everybody else.
And then what?
What will you be remembered for?
A writer named Leo Rosten once said, “I cannot believe the purpose of life is to be happy. I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be compassionate. It is, above all, to matter, to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you have lived at all.”
You have one shot…
Make it count…for eternity.
“But he who is joined with all the living has hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun.” (ESV)
