Another day. Another week.
What is it that you seek?
Hope. Peace. Friendship. Forgiveness. Quiet. Comfort. Relief. Strength. Help. Protection. Purpose. Rest. Joy. Contentment.
Reason to live…
Where is it that you seek?
Work. Family. School. Friends. Home. Church. Possessions. Titles. Achievements. Hobbies. Vacations.
At the end of the day, none of these things are bad places to seek…unless they’re keeping you from seeking the only One who can give you hope and strength and purpose and a reason to live beyond today.
How close are you to God right now…close enough to be in His shadow?
Are you seeking Him today? Do you trust Him to be all that you need?
Or, has life got you too busy and distracted to find rest in His presence?
“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust in Him.” (Psalms 91:1-2) (NLT)
